Lion Pete Davis

Updated: Dec 8

The members of Tonbridge Lions Club are deeply saddened to report the passing to higher Service of Lion Pete Davis.

He joined Tonbridge Lions in October 2002. Although he never wished to become President he held many roles in the Club and served on a number of the committees. Over the 23 years he was a member he served on the Carnival, Charity Walk, Talking Newspaper, New Ideas and Fundraising committees and in recent years the Community Welfare and Christmas Distribution committees.

Pete was a devoted family man with two daughters, one of whom is a member of Southborough Lions Club. He was a dedicated servant of the 2nd Tonbridge Scout Group in North Tonbridge and also for UK Scouting in general, a volunteer with the National Trust, a keen philatelist, Bridge player and with his wife Sue enjoyed many holidays abroad touring.

Lion Pete was an active, well regarded and popular member in the Club and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his wife Sue and his family at this sad time.
