Tonbridge Lion Lee Athwal attended the Judd School Prizegiving ceremony on Tuesday evening to witness the Tonbridge Lions Community Award being presented to Rosie Rawlings.
Rosie, who served as Charity Prefect in her final year at Judd School, was honoured for her role in organising food donations from the school to the FEAST food project. Lee Athwal remarked, "Tonbridge Lions are pleased to recognise Rosie for her contribution and commitment to community service."
The annual Tonbridge Lions Community Award celebrates students who have made a significant contribution to their local community and comes with a £100 cash prize. Rosie’s efforts in coordinating and facilitating these vital food donations exemplify the spirit of the award.
Any Tonbridge secondary school which would like to participate in the award should contact Tonbridge Lions at info@tonbridgelions.org.
